This collection of Dawkin Benny collectible dies were purchased by Trademark Jewelers in 1995. Dawkin Benny was founded by Henry Hill in the middle 1800's; he sold the business to his two employees, Dawkin and Benny.
The dies were covered with grease and undistinguishable requiring endless hours of labor to refurbish, strike, and catalog. We discovered a pictorial history represented by service awards, medallions, with a glimpse of Island life in the late 1800's and early 1900's.
